SoulForest
SERVICES

How a guided journey works.

Every journey at SoulForest follows the same structured, four-step path — held by the same licensed facilitator from your first conversation to your last integration session. Nothing is rushed, and nothing happens before you're medically cleared and fully prepared.

1

Medical clearance

~45 min · virtual available

Confirming this path is safe for you. A licensed clinician reviews your health history and current medications, and answers anything you want to ask. If this isn't the right path, we'll tell you honestly and suggest alternatives.

2

Preparation

1–2 sessions

Meeting your facilitator to prepare with intention. You'll talk through what brings you here, what the session day looks like hour by hour, and how to set yourself up well — practically and emotionally. You can ask anything, as many times as you need.

3

Psilocybin session

~5 hours · in person

A guided ~5-hour journey, fully held. You'll be in a private, comfortable room at our Arvada center with your facilitator present the entire time. The medicine is included and administered under license. You rest, we hold the space; a ride home is arranged in advance.

Your facilitator never leaves the room

4

Integration

sessions in the weeks after

Making sense of the experience and carrying it forward. In the weeks after your session, you and your facilitator meet to reflect on what came up and how it connects to your daily life. This is where the journey settles into something lasting.

ELIGIBILITY & SAFETY

Honest answers before you commit to anything.

Psilocybin isn't right for everyone, and saying so clearly is part of how we keep you safe. The details below are general — your medical clearance is where they become personal.

Who this is for

Adults 21 and older in Colorado working with depression, anxiety, or trauma, who are looking for a structured, legal, professionally held setting.

SoulForest is not emergency or crisis care. If you're in immediate distress, call or text 988 — free and confidential, 24/7.

Medical contraindications

Some conditions mean psilocybin isn't a safe option — including certain heart conditions, a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar I disorder, uncontrolled high blood pressure, and pregnancy.

This isn't a complete list, and having a condition on it isn't a judgment — it's physiology. Your medical clearance visit is where a licensed clinician reviews your specific situation.

Medication interactions

Certain medications — lithium among them — interact with psilocybin and need careful review. Others may simply require timing adjustments.

Never change or stop a medication on your own. Bring a full list to your clearance visit and the clinician will walk through it with you.

What we screen for, and why

Screening exists to protect you, not to gatekeep. We look at physical safety, psychological readiness, and whether this moment in your life is the right one.

If we're not the right fit, we'll say so plainly and point you toward options that may serve you better. That honesty is part of the service.

These lists are not exhaustive and aren't medical advice. Never change or stop a medication on your own — your clearance clinician will review everything with you.
